Sobi recognised as number one in bleeding disorders report

Sobi is proud to share that we have been ranked number one among pharma companies in the PatientView Corporate Reputation of Pharma - Bleeding Disorders Edition (2025/2026). This recognition comes directly from the patient organisations working every day to support people living with bleeding disorders.

A total of 65 patient organisations across 31 countries participated in this report, evaluating nine peer pharma companies active in the bleeding disorders space. To be placed first among those companies - as assessed by the very groups closest to patients - is something we receive with both immense gratitude and a renewed sense of responsibility.

Rooted in a long history of haemophilia

Sobi's work in haemophilia is not new. For decades, we have been committed to this community - investing in scientific understanding, building meaningful relationships with patients and caregivers, and working alongside healthcare professionals to improve outcomes and deliver innovation for people living with inherited bleeding disorders.

That history has shaped who we are. It has given us the privilege of understanding the real-world challenges faced by the bleeding disorders community, from access to care to the everyday realities of living with a chronic condition. It is a commitment that runs through every part of our organisation.

Standing with the global community

Our commitment to the bleeding disorders community extends well beyond individual countries where we have a physical presence. Sobi is proud to be a founding partner and continued supporter of the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Humanitarian Aid Program along with Sanofi. This vital initiative works to ensure that people with bleeding disorders in lower-resource settings can access the care and treatment they need.

We believe that where someone is born should not determine their access to care. Our continued involvement in the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program reflects that belief and our long-standing dedication to making a meaningful difference for patients around the world.

What this ranking reflects

The PatientView report assesses pharmaceutical companies across a range of criteria that matter deeply to patient organisations, including how companies engage with patients, the quality of their information and communications, and the degree to which they act as genuine partners in the community.

Being ranked first overall among the nine assessed companies, by both patient organisations familiar with Sobi and those actively working with Sobi, tells us that our approach is resonating. More than a ranking, it is a signal to us that we must continue listening, continue engaging authentically, and continue placing the patient community at the heart of our decisions.

"This ranking belongs, above all, to the patients, families and organisations who have trusted us as a partner. Their voice guides everything we do. This recognition inspires us to keep raising the bar."
Giampiero Marra, VP Head of Global Patient Engagement and Patient Communication

Continuing the conversation

The bleeding disorders community has demonstrated, over many decades, a remarkable capacity to advocate effectively, build knowledge, and drive change. The patient organisations that contributed to the PatientView report are central to this; they hold expertise, relationships, and community trust that no external body can replicate. Sobi is committed to listening to them, learning from them, and working alongside them.
