C3G
C3 Glomerulopathy, or C3G, is a rare kidney disease driven by dysregulation of the complement system, which forms part of the immune system. This can lead to uncontrolled deposition of C3 protein and damage within the kidneys’ filtering units, called glomeruli.
Primary IC-MPGN
Primary immune Complex-Mediated Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis, or pIC-MPGN, is a rare kidney disease driven by dysregulation of the complement system, in which not only complement proteins but also immune complexes build up in the glomeruli (the tiny filtering units of the kidneys) and cause inflammation and damage.
