External recognition

Sobi actively participates in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) evaluations and aims for continuous improvement. In 2024, Sobi qualified for the third time as a constituent of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), which in 2025 was renamed the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Europe Index (EUR). Sobi is also recognised in several other analyst indices.

S&P Sustainability yearbook member

 

Among more than 7,690 companies across 62 industries assessed in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment, Sobi is one of just 780 companies recognised as a member of the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

Sobi maintained a rating of A (on a scale of AAA-CCC) in 2024 in the MSCI ESG Ratings assessment.

Sustainalytics rating

 

In 2024, Sobi received an ESG Risk Rating of 21.1 and was assessed by Morningstar Sustainalytics to be at medium risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors.

Sobi has been recognised by the global environmental non-profit organisation CDP with a “C” score for climate performance.

Sobi is a signatory to the UN Global Compact, and we actively conduct our business in a manner consistent with the principles of the Global Compact. 


The DJSI is powered by the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). The S&P CSA evaluates all topics contributing to a company’s sustainability performance. The best performers in each of the 61 industries included, become members of one or several of the DJSI indices. Sobi has been taking part in this assessment since 2020 and has made the progress needed to become part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).

MSCI ESG Research provides MSCI ESG Ratings on global public and a few private companies on a scale of AAA (leader) to CCC (laggard), according to exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and the ability to manage those risks relative to peers.
