Connect patients with leadership

What we commit to

We will continue to foster the dialogue at patient council level in haemophilia, ITP, paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH), diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and all new disease areas to inform our activity at global and local level.

We will ensure that the patient voice is heard at all levels within Sobi, and that patient needs remain central to our decision-making process.

What we have done so far

In 2025, Sobi strengthened the bridge between patients and leadership, turning dialogue into genuine collaboration. Patient advocates were invited to share their lived experiences directly with Sobi senior leaders during strategic milestones and internal events, ensuring that decision makers could hear, firsthand, what innovation and access truly mean for those living with rare diseases. These encounters reshaped perspectives. Listening to patients describe their daily realities —the challenges, the hopes, and the courage behind every treatment journey — brought a renewed sense of purpose to leadership teams. It reminded everyone that behind every plan or metric lies a person whose life can be transformed by timely, thoughtful action. By giving patients a seat at the table, Sobi created a space where empathy and accountability coexist. Senior leaders didn’t just hear stories; they absorbed insights that influenced how priorities were set and how success was defined.

The experience fostered a culture of openness and trust, where leadership decisions are guided not only by data, but by understanding. This connection between patients and leadership became a catalyst for change, inspiring teams across the organization to act with greater clarity, compassion, and conviction. It proved that when leaders listen directly to those they serve, patient centricity stops being a principle and becomes a shared responsibility.
